CGSW 21



CGSW21 will be held at UC Santa Cruz from Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2, 2006. Invited speakers are Peter Svenonius and Jan-Wouter Zwart.

Call for papers:

Call deadline: 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time (GMT-8) on December 1, 2005.

Address for submission of abstracts: cgsw@ling.ucsc.edu.
We invite abstracts for thirty-minute talks (followed by ten minutes of discussion) on any aspect of comparative Germanic syntax, including diachronic syntax and the interface between syntax and other components of the grammar.

Abstract Guidelines:
Abstracts should not exceed two pages (letter-size/A4) in total length (including data and references), with one-inch margins all around, typed in at least 11-point font. Submissions are restricted to one individual and one joint abstract per author. Abstracts must be submitted electronically as an e-mail attachment, preferably in .pdf-format. Please use the subject header ''Abstract'' and include in the main body of your message the following author information:

- name(s)
- title of abstract
- affiliation(s)
- mailing address(es)
- e-mail address(es)


Notification of acceptance: February 1, 2006.
